Dr. Victor Toney passed away October 11th with Rebekah at his bedside. He suffered with a cancerous blockage, leaving to be with the Lord in Glory. Dr. Toney served the church he founded in Marion, Ohio and will be succeeded by his youngest son Rev. Thomas Toney. We appreciate your prayers and ask you to continue to do so as the family prepares for the days ahead.

It is at times like these we are thankful for Jesus Christ, Who won the battle over death, and through Whom we have hope of eternal rest with God. Praise be to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, our comforter. Bless the name of the Lord our Deliverer.

Sunday turned out to be another exciting time for Wesley Chapel Nazarene Church. Sunday Morning service was highlighted by an addition of 6 new members and acknowledgement of two others that could not be there due to family illness. Yes, we are growing and God is working here at WCCN. There was communion given, song service and short message by the pastor.

The great excitement was a vote by the members of the church to ask Pastor Paul Burdick and Wife Rebekah to become our permanent Pastoral leaders. The vote was unanimous to have him stay on.

God is at work!!

Welcome Pastor Paul & Rebekah into the fold.

The morning service was topped off with lunch on the grounds provided by the church. As usual, many stayed and fellowshipped together.

Our Sunday Evening Service was also special with "Soul Purpose" performing a new contemporary sound of Christian Music, with 6 guitars, keyboard and drums. weather it is contemporary music or our old hymns sung, the message is the same. God loves us and is the answer to our needs and to lost souls.

We hope to have "Soul Purpose" here on Friday evenings starting in January. When people do not have anywhere to go on a Friday Night they can come and hear and fellowship around Christians friends and Christian music.

Plan on marking Fridays on your calendar beginning in January

Sunday School is always an inspiration and a time to learn about the bible and Gods word. We enjoy a cup of coffee and donuts and open our ears and hearts to the word. Plan on joining us at 9:30 Sunday Mornings.

Now, God Bless you all and have a wonderful week!
