Above( Ladies Luncheon August. 20th)
It was great to have Judy Stouder safely home from her trip to Indiana. Judy requested we pray for her brother who is in need of prayer due to health problems.
Fred and Gladys will be returning from Michigan on August 22nd.
Germaine and Charles are currently visiting family & friends up north and having a wonderful time.
Carol and Bill are visiting children and grand children in Texas where their son-in-law, Rob, is District Supt. for the Dallas District Church of the Nazarene.
Gerry and Mary Smith returned recently from their trip to Branson, Mo. area.
Carlton McIntyre had his left leg amputated just below the knee. He is now in rahab. Carlton and Elizabeth both are in need of our prayers and assistance.
Kathy and Al were privileged to have their three grandchildren (Nathan, McKenzie, Ryan) visiting this summer. They returned home to Michigan, Aug 14th and the church misses them already. They were all a great blessing while here. Nathan helping with the sound booth, (Wanda really appreciated Nates help), McKenzie & Ryan helping with passing out chorus books & participating in Childrens Church.
Marion is still in NY visiting her son and daughter-in-law and the grand-great grand kids. Marion's daughter-in-law has Marion going to exercise classes. Actually, Marion is enjoying them. Marion is planning on returning home here sometime in September. While she has enjoyed her family she misses her home and friends here...as we miss her.
The church board voted recently to have our church join the Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce where we will receive exposure to many new comers to our community.
The church board voted to erect signage on our property proclaiming that we are a "Traditional Worship" style church. Our people are encouraged to proclaim this message to friends & neighbours
Bob Karl recently favored our congregation with an outstanding solo, "Shine Jesus Shine" we look forward to more inthe days ahead.
On Aug. 29th we will celebrate Pastor Mack's Birthday as well as Pastor Mack and Linda's first anniversary as Pastors at Wesley Chapel Church of the Nazarene. A pot luck meal will be served following the morning service. The church will furnish fried chicken. There will be a basket for cards & gifts. INVITE YOUR FRIENDS AND Neighbours!
Ladies' Fall Fashion Show will be held at the church on Oct. 16th. See Kathy for details & please offer to help.

We are anticipating a camp meeting atmosphere this fall when our northern people return.

To hear many of us talk, you'd think we didn't believe this verse. You'd think we didn't believe in the trinity. We talk about the Father and study about the Son- but when it comes to the Holy Spirit, we are confused at best and frightened at worst. Confused because we've never been taught. Frightened because we've never been taught to be afraid. May I simplify things a bit? The Holy Spirit is the presence of God in our lives, carrying on the work of Jesus. The Holy Spirit helps us in three directions- inwardly (by granting us the fruits of the spirit, Gal. 5:22-24). Upwardly (by praying for us, Rom. 8:26) and outwardly (by providing Gods love into our hearts, Rom. 5:5)
